CCMW Toronto chapter partnered with the Women’s Portfolio for the Ismaili Council of Ontario and the Ismaili Council of Toronot for an evening of networking and dialogue on the importance of gender diversity in decision making positions.
The keynote speaker was The Honourable Indira Naidoo-Harris, MPP (Halton) and Minster of the Status of Women and Minster Responsible for Early Years and Child Care who discussed how we can remove barriers of entry for women and how we can achieve the new targets the Ontario Government has put in place for provincial boards and agencies.
The event was moderated by Sadia Zaman, Managing Director for Canada at the Royal Ontario Museum.
