We are pleased to invite you to the Canadian Council of Muslim Women’s (CCMW) upcoming workshop Violence Against Women: A Toolkit for Community Engagement on Sunday October 26th at the Sayeda Khadija Centre in Mississauga Ontario.  The session will run from 2:00-4:00 pm (after zuhur prayers)

The workshop is part of CCMW’s project Violence Against Women: Health and Justice for Canadian Muslim Women. which seeks to engage men, women, youth and religious leaders in discussing and developing community responses to 1) Domestic Violence 2) Forced Marriage 3) Femicide and 4) Female Genital Cutting/Female Genital Mutilation as they relate to Canadian Muslim communities.

The session is free and open to all who are interested. Seating is limited. To register, RSVP by October 17th by emailing info@ccmw.com or u.qureshi@ccmw.com.
