La Fédération des Femmes Musulmanes du Quebec and MSA McGill hosted an insightful workshop to address why and how to build confidence, communication and networking skills to pursue an occupation that matches young womens life purpose and identity.
Speakers included CCMW Montreal Chapters’ Farida Mohamed. Farida Mohamed has a B.Sc. Honours and PhD in Chemical Sciences (Biochemistry) from universities in England and Quebec respectively. She worked in medical research for 15 years in Canada then went into teaching. She is presently working as a teacher with the school board of Montreal (CSDM). She is very engaged in the community for various causes regarding muslims and non-muslims alike.
