Project Interclusion

CCMW has partnered with Courage for Freedom (CFF) to help women and girls in Canada’s Muslim communities who are vulnerable or already victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Courage For Freedom (CFF) was established in 2007 and since then it has helped countless victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation across Canada by providing them with hope, dignity and non-victimized care.

We will collaborate on an education and social media campaign to prevent Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation and support survivors and their families. The joint project known as Project Interclusions aims to be inclusive of our communities and engage parents, families and colleagues by de-stigmatizing conversations and through actionable work with Muslim professionals, youth, immigrant and newcomer groups, and various community stakeholders.

The upcoming educational workshops and social media campaign will expose the risks of Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation of women and girls in underserved communities including racialized and marginalized Muslims who speak Urdu, Arabic, Somali and Farsi and what we can all do to prevent it.

Join us to help our women and girls!

Information Session

As a part of Project Interclusion, CCMW will be hosting Human Trafficking (HT) and Sexual Exploitation (SE) information sessions. These sessions are designed to inform and educate our communities about how to deal with HT/SE and how to prevent it from happening in the first place. It is important now more than ever to develop awareness about HT/SE in order to be equipped with the tools to address HT/SE if you come across it.

If you would like CCMW to organize an information session in your community, contact info@ccmw.com.
