CCMW is raising funds during Ramadan for our Emergency Bursary Fund. This Fund was created as a part of our larger Gender-Based Violence project when we noticed that Muslim women were coming to us in need of emergency financial support to escape abusive situations. The primary objective of the Emergency Bursary Fund is to provide essential support to these women, enabling them to address financial requirements such as legal fees, housing expenses, groceries, childcare, and related necessities, facilitating their escape from violence and abuse.

To facilitate fundraising efforts, CCMW is selling Medjool Dates sourced from Palestine, as well as accepting donations. This campaign is distinctive in its dual impact, wherein we not only aid Muslim sisters in Canada experiencing gender-based violence but also contribute to the support of Palestinian date farmers.

With every donation you financially help the many Muslim women who contact CCMW for help facing gender-based violence and/or accessing justice.
