Meet our Panelists
Lina Saadeddin is a Muslimah and local Mental Health advocate currently completing her final year in a Masters in Counselling Psychology at Western University. Lina brings a breadth of knowledge in the areas of mental health and wellness, and has worked with several educational institutions, students, newcomer families, youth and children to address various mental health and social needs. We are so excited to have Lina join us to lead a seminar on Muslim women's mental wellness during the pandemic.
Salma Mahmoud is a Registered Dietitian (RD) currentIy working as an Inpatient Dietician in medicine. Salma completed her undergraduate degree at Brescia University College in Food and Nutrition, and went on to complete a combined Master's and subsequent internship at Western University. Since graduating, Salma has worked in a variety of different fields, working with healthcare professionals and patients in the areas of surgery, neurology, and outpatient gastroenterology at Victoria Hospital. With Ramadan around the corner, we are very excited for Salma to join us to lead a seminar on healthy eating and nutrition.
