Preparing to deliver Baklava for Yemen Fundraiser

CCMW Durham sold 150 boxes of Baklava made by Shut_in_desserts and raised $550.00 for Yemen through Islamic Relief Canada.

Our members volunteered to label, and prepare the bags to be distributed to Ajax, Whitby, Pickering, and Oshawa. Volunteers Shazia, Mumtaz, Sabira, Sofia, Rabia, Mumtaz, Fatima, Nuha, and Kubra delivered the Baklava which was ordered for individuals or sent as a tasty gift for family and friends. Special thanks to Yasmin who coordinated our efforts with Islamic Relief Canada.
