About our Vancouver chapter
The Vancouver chapter is one of the first chapters to have been formed during the 1980s, after the inauguration of CCMW in 1982. It has gone through many ups and downs during the last 30 years. Over the last five years, we have been active and have tried to be part of the national projects through workshops and presentations.
We try to collaborate with other Muslim organizations on events. There are many Muslim organizations in BC that aim to present common topics on women’s issues. For example, we participated in a local restaurant fundraiser that was organized to support women’s organizations including CCMW
