Nourhan Ali: 2022

Nourhan Ali is a third year student at Western University, majoring in Biology and minoring in French, and is one of the recipients of the CCMW Lila Fahlman Scholarship. In her community, Nourhan is an active and sincere leader who strives to ensure that everyone feels welcome and supported. Some of her work includes coordinating a recycling program for her neighborhood, distributing 4000 sticky notes with positive messages in her high school, fundraising $20,000 for global and local causes, and more recently, she has done a lot of work with local London organizations to ensure safety for Muslim women after the murder of the Afzaal family.

In her free time, Nourhan enjoys crocheting and has evolved her passion into a small business! Nourhan hopes to continue her work in the community and is excited to see where life takes her.
