CCMW Toronto Media Club Film Screening and Discussion

The CCMW Toronto Media Club is hosting a film screening and discussion of the documentary Rights and Wrongs: The Story of Women in Islam. This documentary features several prominent Muslim women scholars and thought leaders who debunk myths about women in Islam. It also looks at how feminism works within Islam in the modern era. After the screening we'll host a facilitated discussion of the film and foster a safe space for discourse. Diverse perspectives are welcome so long as they are communicated in a respectful manner. There is no tolerance for misogyny or discrimination. Hope you can join us for a lively conversation!
