International Women's day — Canadian Council of Muslim Women

Rubina Nakhuda and Kubra Mir, President of Durham Region received certificates for International women's day along with dynamic women in the community from the Honourable Peter Bethlenfalvy, MPP (Pickering and Uxbridge and Fiance Minister for Ontario. Shaheen Butt, City Councillor, Ward 3, City of Pickering helped present the certificates. Rubina attended the award ceremony with her son, Ariff, and grandson Isa.

International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. This year, the International Women's Day theme is #BreakTheBias.
