Project Ramadan

Durham Region raised over a thousand dollars and brought a team of twelve members to help pack food baskets with Project Ramadan at the Muslim Welfare Centre in Whitby. Project Ramadan is an initiative dedicated to providing support to local families in need through fundraising and assembling food baskets. Each food basket costs $60 and contains staple food items to help the local community create healthy, balanced meals during the blessed month of Ramadan.

We were honoured to work beside the Honourable Ryan Turnball, MP for Whitby and his family and Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, Elizabeth Dowdeswell.
