CCMW Durham Park Clean Up

Durham Region hosted a successful park clean-up at Brockridge park in Pickering and our hard-working volunteers picked up many bags of garbage and recycling.

The clean-up was led by Sumaira Munir. She is a volunteer certified hike leader, environmental educator, and park host for more than three years with Parks Canada and coordinated our park cleaning efforts.

We look forward to learning more about the environment from Sumaira. Thanks to Pickering Council person, Shaheen Butt for his support and efforts in our chapter's cleaning efforts. Thank you Sumaira and our wonderful volunteers for making a positive impact in the community.
